Today, Doane students obtained a piece of history.

They received their inauguration tickets.

Now, they get to decide how much history is worth.

As part of the 260,000 people to witness Barack Obama’s inauguration, tickets, like Doane students’ standing-only tickets, are selling on Craig’s List for at least $500. While the inauguration would be part of history, students also wondered what else they could get for 17 tickets at $500 a piece.

Students still have time to sell.

They just may spend time in a cell if they give the tickets up.
