Cyboron named to ESPN's Academic All-District

Tyler Cyboron has been racking up points both on and off the court. The senior guard for the Tiger men’s basketball team holds a 4.0 grade point average as well as an average of 7.6 points per game, which helped him earn a place on ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All-District list last week.

Spring sports set to start

With snow still blanketing campus, it's hard to imagine anyone outside practicing. But, both Doane's baseball team and women's tennis team are doing just that as they prepare for the start of their seasons. The women's tennis team may not have a lot of experience, but they a positive attitude.

Doane drops another GPAC game

In spite of the best efforts of the men’s basketball team, the Tigers were trampled by the Hastings Broncos Wednesday night at Lynn Farrell Arena in Hastings. After suffering a disappointing 99-71 loss, the men weren’t happy with their performance.

Rival Wesleyan sweeps second season

Wesleyan fans came to Wednesday night’s rivalry game against Doane prepared for a sweep. They left with the brooms. And the win. After 10 first-half turnovers, Doane couldn’t overcome Wesleyan’s shooting as the Tigers fell 70-55 Wednesday night at Snyder Arena in Lincoln.

Track team returns from nationals
