Letters submitted online will not be printed in the Doane Owl unless they are also submitted following the Owl's policy, which is as follows:
The Doane Owl welcomes signed Letters to the Editor of 350 words or less. All submissions are due by 4 p.m. on the Monday prior to publication. Submissions should be addressed to the editor and sent to the Doane Owl through campus mail, placed in the box outside of Gaylord 130 or e-mailed to owl@doane.edu. A hard copy of the letter must be signed in the presence of the Editor-in-Chief by 7 p.m. Wednesday. The editor reserves the right to edit all submissions for length and content.
