Doane women cross country finished 20th at the national meet Saturday in Kenosha, Wis. as junior Sufian Kimo led the men's team with a 25th place finish and All-American honors.

Doane volleyball defeats Bethel College, advances to tourney

Doane’s volleyball team defeated Bethel College 3-1 Saturday night to advance to the opening round of the NAIA Volleyball Championship on Dec. 2. Doane won the match 25-17, 23-25, 25-8 and 25-15. Doane, 27-8 overall, will begin pool play for the NAIA National Volleyball Tournament against No. 4 Bellevue University at 11:00 a.m. Dec. 2 at the Tyson Event Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Doane lost to Bellevue earlier this year 3-0.
