Nebraska’s state legislators have decided to wait to decide on repealing the motorcycle helmet law. According to a Journal Star article, the lawmakers want to wait to vote until they know more about possible insurance needs for motorcyclists that the law could require. Several of the senators said in the article they wanted to understand the bill as well as they could before voting on it.

The parking lot near The Den is not officially open, but it could be used if the college needed it for extra parking during major snow removal projects, Director of Facility Services Mike Hartwell said.
He said it definitely should be open in time for the first baseball and soccer games.
The newly paved lot will eventually have new lighting, an emergency phone and security cameras, Hartwell said.
